Our food is always sourced locally from a trusted bank of suppliers in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire.
The meat and vegetables used are free range or organic - as are the core ingredients in everything she cooks such as her own bread and chocolates. The quinces and medlars in Suzie's special jellies come from her parents' orchard in South Somerset.
Ingredients are always sourced as locally as possible to the venue of the event. For example, for weddings in Dorset, Parsons of Sherborne provide the highest quality meat and game.
Suzie is very lucky to have Evans the Butchers a truly fabulous butcher in Langport as well as Bernard Stacey, a high-class organic butcher on her doorstep in Somerton. Cheese is from Longmans Dairy in North Cadbury. Fish comes locally from Samways Fish Merchants based in Bridport. Organic salad leaves come from The Trading Post in Lopen and fabulous asparagus and summer fruit come from New Cross Fruit Farm in West Lambrook.
The seasons play a large part in our menu creation and availability at local farm shops and local markets plays a central part in what appears on a menu.
